Join Original World for an epic journey across the intriguing Arabian Peninsula.  We start with arrival in Dubai, United Arab Emirates where we spend two days observing the juxtaposition of the traditional and modern lifestyles.  We then visit three additional Emirates - Sharjah, Ajman, and Al Fujayrah en route to Muscat, Oman.  Our Oman journey takes us to the famed Wahiba Sands where we observe authentic Bedouin lifestyle up-close.  We visit the crystal waters of Wadi Bani Khalid, picturesque fishing villages, the historic oasis town of Nizwa and the oasis border town Al Ain for the weekly camel market. We return to Dubai for our morning flight to Sana’a, Yemen.

Yemen travel is considered the jewel of this tour by many, as it is the most isolated from Western influences and offers the most traditional Islamic lifestyles to observe.  We will visit the great mosques,  the old city of Sana’a and enjoy a short excursion to a  pleasant valley of small villages and clan- walled orchards. Other highlights of interest include Thula, a perfectly preserved highland town of stone tower houses, a pilgrimage center for the Dawoudi Bohra (Ismaili Muslims of India) and Zabid UNESCO world heritage site.
