Day 1: Arrive in Istanbul-Fly to Adana Met on arrival and connect to flight to Adana. (D)
Day 2: Antakya Drive to Antakya and visit Sokullu Mehmet Pasha Caravanserai, Antakya Mosaic Museum, Grotto of St. Peter. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Gaziantep Visit the site of Zeugma, located next to the Euphrates River and known for its marvelous mosaics. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Nemrut Mountain-Adiyaman See the huges heads of gods and goddess on the mountain. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Harran - Urfa Drive to Harran, one of the oldest cities of Mesapotamia. Continue to Urfa, city of the prophets. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Marden - Diyarbaker Visit of the Deyrulzafaran Monastery, an Armenian orthodox monastery still inn use. In Diyarbakır, see the city walls, the market and Ulu Cami. (B,L,D)
Day 7-8: Van Drive to Van, situated on the shores of Lake Van, at 5,500 feet, one of the highest lakes in the world. Visit the St. Croix Church on Akdamar Island, a beautiful example of Armenian architecture. Visit Hosap Castle and Cavustepe, the Ourartéens site. (B,L,D)

Day 9: Dogubeyazit - Kars Visit the 17th century Ishak Pasha Palace, built on a high valley overlooking the caravan route. Continue to Kars, small city which is a beautiful example of Russian urbanism of the 19th century.(B,L,D)
Day 10: Ani - Erzurum Visit Ani, the capital city of Ourartéens State and later of the Armenian Bagratid Kingdom from 953 to 1045 AD. Among the ruins, there are eight churches, a convent and a citadel along with the main cathedral which has alternately been a church or a mosque. In Erzurum, the largest city in eastern Anatolia, visit the Islamic monuments from Seljuk, Mongol and Ottoman eras, Ulu Mosque and Cifte Minare. (B,L,D)
Day 11: Trabzon Drive to Trabzon along the Black Sea. Visit Hagia Sophia and Sumela Monastery which was well respected as a monastic centre from the 4th century until 1923. (B,L,D)
Day 12: Istanbul Fly to Istanbul. Free afternoon. (B, D)
