Armenia

Day 1: Arrive in Yerevan
Met on arrival and transfer t. (D)

Day 2-4: Yerevan
Ecursions to Garni, Geghard, Saghmosavank, Hovanavank and Amberd. (B,L,D)

Day 5: Khor Virap-Noravank-Carahunge-Sisian
Visit the ancient monasteries and enjoy wine tasting. Then see ancient Carahunge which is similar to Stone Henge in England. (B,L,D)

Day 6: Sisian
Visit the magnificent Tatev Monastery and the cave village Khndzoresk. (B,L,D)

Day 7: Lake Sevan
Drive to Lake Sevan via Selim Pass. We'll pass by Noradous, a history laden Middle Ages cemetery of khachkars (cross stones). (B,L,D)

Day 8: Dilijan
Excursion to Goshavank in the upper reaches of Agestev River in dense oak woods. One of the biggest and best known kchachkars in Armenia is here. Lunch with locals in a family home. In Dilijan tour the old city and its most popular site; Haghartsin Monastery. (B,L,D)

Georgia

Day 9: Tbilisi
Drive to Tbilisi, stopping at Sanahin Monastery (UNESCO) and Haghpart Monastery enroute. (B,L,D)

Day 10: Tbilisi
Tour Tbilisi. Folkshow at national restaurant.

Day 11: Mtskheta-Gori-Borjomi-Bakuriani
We start with a drive to the beautiful small town Mtskheta, the ancient capital, and vist its historical UNESCO sites. Continue to the town Gori and visit the Joseph Stalin Museum. Drive through the mineral water town Borjomi and taste carbonated water from the source. End our day at mountain resort town Bakuriani. (B,L,D)

Day 12: Bakuriani
Excursion to Samtskhe-Javakheiti Province to visit the magnificent 12th c. cave town Vardzia and 10th c. Khertvisi Fortress. (B,L,D)

Day 13: Gudauri
Morning visit Uplistsikhe, an ancient rock-hewn town in eastern Georgia. Afternoon enjoy a scenic drive through the high Caucasus Mountains up the famous Georgia Military Highway (leading to the border with Russia) and Zhinvali Lake, visting the  Ananuri architectural complex enroute. (B,L,D)

Day 14: Tibilsi
A stunning drive returning to Tibilsi along Tergi River, stopping in Kazbergi town and driving trough beautiful valleys and woodlands to Gergeti Trinity Church. (B,L,D)

Day 15: Davit Gareja-Sighnaghi

Visit Davit Gareja, Georgia's most remarkable ancient site. Continue to the fortied royal town Sighnaghi with tis cobbled streets and multi-colored balconies. (B,L,D)

Azerbaijan

Day 16: Sheiki
A walking tour around Sighaghi; lunch at a family-run guesthouse, then visiting a local farmer's wine-cellar. Cross the border into Azerbaijani town of  Sheiki. (B,L,D)

Day 17: Sheiki
Very full day touring. Walking tour through old bazaar, Khan's Palace; visit the History Museum and the workshops of shebeke vitrages (stained glass). (B,L,D)

Day 18: Baku
Travel the historic route along the Caspian Sea as an epic conclusion to your exploration of the mighty Caucasus. Enroute visit Seven Tombs, Djuma Mosque, Dira Baba Mausoleum and see active mud volcanoes along the highway. (B,L,D)

Day 19-20: Baku
Old City tour, visit Gobustan National Park. Excursion to Absheron Peninsula and see the Ateshgyakh Fire Worshippers Temple. (B,L,D)

Day 21: Baku-Depart
